Richards, Layton & Finger Director Selected for ABA Diverse Leaders Academy

WILMINGTON, Delaware (September 25, 2014) – Marcos A. Ramos, a director of Richards, Layton & Finger, has been selected to participate in the ABA Section of Litigation’s Diverse Leaders Academy (formerly known as the Leadership Fellows Program). The Diverse Leaders Academy strives to attract, retain and develop talented diverse lawyers, foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, and create a pipeline of future leaders of the ABA. Candidates for the program were evaluated on several factors, including their history of bar involvement, public service and professional excellence.

Mr. Ramos is a litigator and bankruptcy professional whose practice is focused on proceedings in the Delaware Bankruptcy and District Courts, and he provides counsel to U.S. and non-U.S. clients in other matters arising under or related to Delaware law, practice, procedure and courts. Mr. Ramos is a co-founder and former president of the Delaware Hispanic Bar Association, a deputy president of the Hispanic National Bar Association (Region IV, Delaware and Pennsylvania), and Chairman of the New Castle County Diversity Commission.
