WILMINGTON, Delaware – Julie C. Panaro, an associate with Richards, Layton & Finger, has been named president of the Delaware chapter of CREW Network, a professional women’s commercial real estate organization. Located in 57 cities nationwide and Canada, CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) provides more than 6000 members with opportunities for networking, business development, leadership and professional education. CREW members encompass every area of commercial real estate at the professional level.

A co-founder of Delaware CREW, Inc., Panaro is the chapter’s inaugural president. Delaware CREW’s membership consists of 45 women with at least 2 years of full-time, professional experience in a field of commercial real estate.

Panaro has practiced commercial real estate law with Richards, Layton & Finger since earning a JD, cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in 2001, and focuses on representing lenders, borrowers, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and developers in all matters of commercial real estate transactions. Active in both the American Bar Association and the Delaware State Bar Association, she has been named a fellow with the American Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Section for 2005 – 2007 and is currently vice-chair of the Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies Committee of the Special Investors and Investment Structure Group. Panaro has several publications and writes the Delaware section of the Real Estate Quarterly Reporter for the American Bar Association.
